The Paris Saint-Germain outcast was closely linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer, however, Sky Germany now reports that the Dutch international will head back to RB Leipzig for the upcoming 2024/25 campaign on yet another loan deal.

The report further claims that the 21-year-old has picked RB Leipzig over a move to Munich as he felt that he has a more secure role at his current club where he scored 25 goals across all competitions last season. PSG and the Bundesliga side are all set to meet later this week to finalise a second loan deal for the player.

Manchester United were also linked with a move for the attacker earlier in the summer, however, they did not submit an official proposal with the Ligue 1 champions. They instead signed Simons' compatriot and fellow Netherlands international Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.
WHAT NEXT FOR BAYERN MUNICH?
After failing to land Simons this summer, the Bavarian side will now hope to secure a deal for RB Leipzig and Spain star Dani Olmo who is linked with a move away from his club this summer.
